What a strange and bizarre world it is when everyone goes bananas for sandwiches all at once. So much enthusiasm is fantastic, finally the sandwich will have it’s time in the spotlight! So much enthusiasm brings lots of new players to the field and they, apparently, lack creativity. Just like Unbreaded (see below), food blog du jour scanwich (also see below) is a remade version of Scanwich, albeit with a nicer design and more updates. Unfortunately it seems like sandwich culture is becoming rather cut-throat, full of copying and CSS.
What do you think? Is this healthy competition or non-devotees trying to ride the wave while sandwiches are popular?

Wow… I don’t want any part of that tug-of-war. I mean, how you gonna have the same kind of blog, in the same city? Granted, there are qualities I like of each one; they should just combine and share the updating burden, and call it even.
They’re both getting press, but for the wrong reasons! Maybe better than nothing. We should all enjoy it while it’s here; I don’t think it will pull this much attention forever.
Yeah, I totally agree Jake. Seems like those two are fighting for the same audience and ultimately the one with the best scanned sandwiches will win out. Maybe we should start a sandwich alliance to join all the sandwich sites. Err, that sounds a lot like ‘webrings’ of yore…
