Back in 2007 Serious Eats NY did a great SANDWICHLab-esque article about how to make the perfect PB&J! They tested a bunch of peanut butters and jellies and found that the perfect ratio of bread-to-peanut butter-to-jelly-to-bread is 1 : 0.6 : 0.3 : 1!
