Now, I love a good burger, but I’m not that obsessed about them as a lot of others (I like to save my love for other sandwiches). Of the list above, I’ve only been to Shake Shack and DuMont Burger. Shake shack has much nicer decor (the park!) but DuMont’s burger is much better. The prices on this list swing wildly too. I have a hunch that if price is no concern, there are better burgers out there.
What do you think?

You said TIme Out but the Link is to the Village Voice?
You’re right, I’ve updated the link. Oddly enough, TONY has a best burger list here.
Looks like everyone loves Back Forty and ShakeShack!
Not on this list, but New York magazine listed Dram Shop (339 9th Street, Brooklyn) as one of the best burgers recently, which seemed to come out of nowhere. After a few taste tests, I’m inclined to agree with them – the burger is delicious and it’s $10 including a big pile of fries.
The South Florida branch of the Village Voice is The New Times (Broward-Palm Beach, and Miami), and they have yet to publish such a delicious list. I will push them to.
